How To Clean Your Sofa Cover-Cabrexa

Once you purchase your favorite sofa cover, you are ensuring the elegance and comfort of your chair. You must, however, take care of the cover, as you will soon discover. The lovely cover you choose to protect your chair will not last for long if not properly cared for.

However, with the right technique and proper care, you can keep the cover in good condition and ensure your sofa's long-term protection. To keep the color and texture, you'll need to keep it clean.

How can you keep your cabrexa sofa covers in good shape? Here are some tried and tested methods for extending the life of your sofa cover.

1. Keep It Clean

Clean your sofa cover on a regular basis and keep it in good shape. Slipcovers are subject to collecting dust particles after a period of use. Consider washing it the same way you would clean a bed sheet.

Brush or vacuum the cushions of your sofa once a month to extend the longevity of your slipcovers.

You will get rid of any dust or dirt that has collected beneath it over time by doing so. As a result, you keep it in great shape.

2. Minimize Stains & Spills

Even though slipcovers protect sofas from spills and stains, it is a good idea to try to avoid situations where stains are likely to occur. Try drinking wine or consuming food at the dinner table or with the aid of a TV tray instead of on your sofa.

While avoiding stains on your covers is desirable, no matter how vigilant we are, there is a good chance that spills and stains will inevitably find their way onto your cover.

Take into account the extent of the damage a spilled glass of red wine might have on the colour of your cover. If this occurs, clean it as soon as possible with products that are immediately available to avoid permanent damage.

Note: Select the appropriate colour. White slipcovers are more likely to stain than blue, green, or red slipcovers. When compared to a dark colour, stains are more likely to cause permanent damage to a light colour (white) (gray, blue, or red).

3. Cleaning Your Cabrexa Sofa Cover

Even if you have the best of intentions, you will need to deep clean your Cabrexa Sofa Cover at some point.

It's easy to wash your sofa cover; all you have to do is remove it from your sofa or cushions and wash it, but there are some basic instructions to follow.

Here are several methods for cleaning your sofa cover without damaging it.

- Washing Machine Instructions: Please wash your Cabrexa product in a separate load if possible. If you have many sofa covers, it's best to wash them all at the same time to avoid combining light and dark colours.

To Safely Wash Your Cabrexa Sofa Cover, Follow These Steps:

  1.    Using a lint roller remove any pet hair and dirt particles with the sofa cover still on the sofa,
  2.  Take off the sofa's slipcover.
  3.  Using a vacuum cleaner, suck up any micro dirt or dust that has collected on the sofa.
  4.   Use cold water and a soft laundry detergent product in a gentle cleaning cycle in the washing machine.

You can then either dry it in the dryer or let it air dry. If you do use a dryer, make sure it is set to low heat. You don't want the slipcover to shrink, and higher temperatures will cause the material to shrink. Permit the slipcover to dry totally before putting it back on your sofa.

- Hand-Wash Instructions: Warm water, soap, and laundry detergent are all you will need to wash your sofa cover in a safer manner. If there are stains on it, you need to use a stain remover as well.

You may also use a water-based cleaner with vinegar and baking soda as an alternative.

Carry out the same steps as before. Hand-wash the sofa cover instead of putting it in the washing machine. Allow it to air dry.

- Dry Clean Only Materials & Instructions: Silk, velvet, wool, and microfiber covers should be dry cleaned. Using a piece of cloth dipped in a solution of cleaning alcohol and vinegar, do this. If such items are not readily available, carpet cleaning products may be used instead.

To guarantee that you're doing it correctly, make sure the cloth you're using doesn't fade the colour, and test with a white cloth if possible.
